How to Choose the Best Disposable Cigarette Filters
Disposable cigarette filters are becoming more and more common as smokers realize the benefits. While most people know that smoking is a terrible thing for your health, a lot of people do not realize just how hard it is to quit smoking. Not only do smokers have to deal with their nicotine dependence, but it is a psychological issue as well. Smokers have become accustomed to lighting up at certain times, such as after a meal or when they are stressed out. At times, the thought of dealing with certain issues or times without lighting a cigarette can actually be very scary.
The tar in the cigarette is the single most dangerous thing in it. This brown, sticky substance is what contributes to smokers getting lung cancer, tumors, bronchitis, emphysema and other terrible health conditions. Disposable cigarette filters are designed to remove large amounts of tar from the cigarette so that the smoker doesn't inhale it all. This reduces their chance of that tar damaging their lungs or other areas. While it is definitely not as healthy as being a non-smoker, using disposable cigarette filters surely helps. There are so many different kinds on the market, how do you know if you're choosing the right one?
Look for disposable filters that can be used with cigarettes and other smoking products as well. For example, some people smoke Clove cigarettes, or other types of herbal cigarettes which are supposed to be less hazardous than regular cigarettes. Check for a brand which gives you flexibility as far as what you can use them for. These types of cigarette filters should last for around 4 to 15 cigarettes per filter. The whole point of using disposable cigarette filters is to save yourself and try to quit smoking, rather than add a fortune onto your already expensive cigarette fund.
Another thing you should look at is how much tar and nicotine they remove. Ideally, the more nicotine they remove, the better they are for you. However, individuals want a choice. If there are different levels as to how much nicotine and tar is removed, this is great. This allows you to step down from one amount to a lower one while you are trying to quit smoking. One way to do this would be to smoke cigarettes at a higher level with the disposable cigarette filters for a few weeks, and then use a filter that takes more nicotine and tar out of the cigarette. Use this one for a few weeks or until you are ready to quit completely.
The simple truth is that using disposable filters for cigarettes can be the difference between a longer, better life or a shorter, more painful one. The tar that paralyzes the cilia in the lungs is kept from entering the lungs as much with these filters. When your lungs aren't able to be kept clean by the cilia, you then experience sickness such as cancer, bronchitis, emphysema and many other different kinds of illnesses.
